Nicola Zalewski says that he “fits in really well” at Inter Milan after the Nerazzurri’s Serie A win over Hellas Verona.
The Polish international spoke to Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, after this evening’s match. He hailed the “exceptional group” at Inter.
Wingback Nicola Zalewski joined Inter Milan at the tail end of the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old arrived on a season-long loan deal from Roma.
Inter signed Zalewski to reinforce at wingback after Tajon Buchanan had joined Villarreal on loan.
And so far in his first few months as an Inter player, Zalewski has managed to have an impact.
The Pole has started in two matches in Serie A now. Against Hellas Verona, he made his second ever start for Inter.
Meanwhile, Zalewski has also come off the bench on numerous occasion. He has appeared throughout the second half of the season in Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the Champions League.

At the moment, Nicola Zalewski is only at Inter on loan from Roma.
However, the Nerazzurri do have an option to sign the 23-year-old on a permanent basis.
And several reports have indicated that Inter are leaning towards exercising it. They are keen to sign Zalewski outright on the basis of what they have seen from him so far.
And a big part of the reason for that is the fact that Zalewski has not taken long to get up to speed after arriving in midseason.
The Polish international gave a valuable service by helping the team to see out this evening’s Serie A match against Hellas Verona.
After the match, Zalewskl commented that “we have to think one match at a time.”
He added that “it was important to win to stay close at the top of the table.”
“Now let’s think about Tuesday,” Zalewski said. Inter take on Barcelona in the second leg of a Champions League semifinal tie.
Meanwhile, Zalewski made clear that “I want to stay.”
“I’ve never denied it.”
The 23-year-old stated that “I fit in really well here, thanks to the exceptional group.”
