Some transfer talks have started up this week off the back of a club deciding to go for it’s Plan B option this summer.
It of course involves Chelsea, who are relatively quiet at the moment despite the fact that they need to heavily work on outgoing transfer deals now as we approach the latter end of the summer transfer window.
We did have one ‘here we go’ done transfer deal announced early this week involving one player departing from Chelsea, but that wasn’t even a player who we all expected to be on the to be sold list and a player they only just signed!
And as well as that, we are still hearing and seeing fresh reports suggesting that Nicolas Jackson could leave the club this summer as well, with Manchester United entering talks with his agent this week.
Plenty going on, but nothing really advancing too much or developing at this stage.
Renato Veiga to Atletico Madrid is one transfer story that could well advance soon, and The Evening Standard have confirmed today that Atletico Madrid have contacted the representatives of Renato Veiga as they explore a deal to sign him from Chelsea.

Veiga is one of the players Chelsea are prioritising selling this summer. They are understood to be holding out for more than €40million (£34.6m) for the defender, who is interested in the proposed move to Atletico.
Atlético Madrid have identified Chelsea’s Renato Veiga as Plan B to Tottenham Hotspur’s Cristian Romero, according to Monday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo.
According to Mundo, the Blues could let Veiga leave for €30-35m this summer.
Another Spanish newspaper, AS, reports Tottenham’s refusal to sell Romero has forced Atleti to look at other options. They are focusing on Veiga too, who has apparently been on their radar in the past.
