Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola reportedly sang a song in the ear of John Stones as the Premier League champions resumed training ground activities.

Spirits couldn’t be any higher at the home of the reigning Treble winners this week, as Manchester City go in search of a record-breaking fourth successive Premier League title whilst sitting on a staggering unbeaten record.

Having not lost a game in the English top-flight since mid-December, Pep Guardiola and his players find themselves just three successive victories from the league crown, and yet another title race where they could overcome the challenge of Arsenal.

Manchester City have returned to training this week following three days off from football duties, granted by manager Pep Guardiola, who was in high spirits whilst putting together the start of his preparations for the trip to face Fulham on Saturday lunchtime.

As per Sky Sports News’ Peter Stevenson reporting from outside the City Football Academy on Wednesday afternoon, having watched the Premier League champions train earlier in the day, manager Pep Guardiola brought a joyful song to work with him.

Stevenson explained, “He (Pep Guardiola) made a point of going around a lot of players individually, had a little sing song in John Stones’ ear, I think it was the John Stones song. And then let them get on with their warm-ups.”

Manchester City have a fully-fit squad available thus far ahead of the weekend’s clash at Craven Cottage, with the list of outfield players starring in training as follows:

Defenders: Rico Lewis, Kyle Walker, Manuel Akanji, John Stones, Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol, Nathan Ake, Sergio Gomez

Midfielders: Rodri, Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes, Bernardo Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden

Forwards: Oscar Bobb, Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish, Jeremy Doku

Following the visit to Fulham, Manchester City will travel back to London on Tuesday night for their game in hand against Tottenham, while the Premier League season will conclude at home against West Ham United.
