Pep Guardiola has shot down a potential return to Bayern Munich this summer.

The Manchester City manager recently emerged as a surprise candidate in the Bundesliga outfit's search for Thomas Tuchel's successor.

But Guardiola's representatives emphatically ruled out that option, pointing to his contract at the Etihad Stadium until summer 2025.

"Pep has FC Bayern in his heart, but he does not want to leave Manchester City this summer," they told Sky Germany.

"He is very happy [at City] and has a contract until 2025.

"A return to FC Bayern is not an option."

Guardiola could win his sixth Premier League title this season if his side overhaul Arsenal by winning their game in hand.
