According to a report from Florian Plettenberg, Paul Pogba (32) would be open to a move to Ligue 1. The Sky Sports reporter writes that the French league is one of several destinations that the former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder is considering.
Pogba would also be open to clubs in the Bundesliga, La Liga, and Serie A, while the MLS and the Saudi Pro League are also thought to be options for the Frenchman. The Premier League, where Pogba made his professional debut, is conspicuously absent from that list.
Despite being born in France and developing in the youth academies of Roissy-en-Brie, US Torcy, and Le Havre AC, Pogba has never an appearance in the French league, as he was picked up as a sixteen-year-old by Manchester United, where he finished his youth training.
The 2018 World Cup winner is a free agent after he and Juventus agreed to mutually terminate their contract this year, and after serving a doping ban from football, the midfielder is now able to reignite his playing career.
