Reports in Italy claim that Jose Mourinho wants to bring Bologna and Italy forward Riccardo Orsolini to Istanbul as part of his current Fenerbahce project.

Report Mourinho wants Orsolini at Fenerbahce

Reports earlier in the 2024-25 season claimed that Orsolini is keen on exploring new opportunities, and that Bologna are open to selling him under the right circumstances, ideally with more than a year remaining on his contract, which is still the case this summer.

According to Saturday’s reports from Orazio Accomando of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Orsolini is one of the first names at the top of Mourinho’s Fenerbahce wishlist, although they have been met with a refusal from both Bologna and the player himself.

The 28-year-old has spent almost the entirety of his senior career with Bologna, having initially joined on loan from Juventus in 2018, before going on to sign on a permanent basis 18 months later.

He has gone on to make 258 appearances in all competitions for the Rossoblu over the last seven-and-a-half seasons.
