After Manchester United opened the Rúben Anorim era with a goal from Marcus Rashford after just two minutes, Ipswich steadied themselves and started to get a foothold in the game.
With the Portman Road crowd behind them, the Tractor Boys began to threaten to find an equaliser, and would've done if it wasn't for a simply outstanding save from André Onana.
Everyone inside the ground would've been waiting for the net to bulge as Liam Delap hit a fierce shot from close range towards the Man Utd goal – including Delap himself – but from nowhere, Onana's strong hand came to deny an almost certain leveller.
Yet Ipswich were not too dispirited, as they continued to push forward, and they found the breakthrough when former Chelsea youth product Omari Hutchinson scored his first Premier League goal with a stunning curling effort.
There was nothing that Onana could've done about that one, particularly given it deflected off Noussair Mazraoui.
