Real Madrid have announced their starting lineup which will take on Alaves this afternoon, as the club desperately look to get back on winning track.

As expected, Carlo Ancelotti has made a few key rotations as he looks to keep his troops fresh ahead of the second leg Champions League quarterfinal tie against Arsenal in midweek.

Therefore, Vinicius Junior starts on the bench, allowing Arda Guler to get a rare starting opportunity in the final third.

This means Rodrygo returns to the left wing position, where he will look to cause trouble for the Alaves defenders.

Jude Bellingham and Luka Modric also start on the bench, alongside Dani Ceballos, who is yet to get back to full fitness. But it will be interesting to see if the midfielder makes a late appearance against Alaves.

With these players missing, the Real Madrid midfield comprise of Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga, who is ineligible to play against Arsenal due to a red card suspension.

In defence, Raul Asencio starts alongside Antonio Rudiger, with Fran Garcia and Lucas Vazquez operating in wider roles.
