On a brilliant six-game unbeaten run in all competitions, Real Madrid will now look to take on Rayo Vallecano in La Liga today. They are coming off a 0-1 win against RB Leipzig away from home in the Champions League, which will definitely help with morale.

Carlo Ancelotti has made four changes to the starting lineup that took on Leipzig for the Vallecano game, starting with the attack.

Joselu gets the nod over Rodrygo to start as one of the two strikers up top, with Vinicius partnering him. Brahim Diaz will play behind them, although this front-three could easily be a 4-3-3, as well.

Toni Kroos has been rested after successive starts, with Luka Modric finally back in the midfield trident, starting his first game since the 0-2 win against Getafe.

Federico Valverde will partner him in that role, while Eduardo Camavinga takes responsibility as the holding midfielder.

With Antonio Rudiger still out of action, Aurelien Tchouameni has been given the license to start as the centre-back once again, with Nacho retaining his position in the heart of the backline, as well.

These two will screen Andriy Lunin in goal, but Ancelotti has opted to switch out both fullbacks for this game. Fran Garcia takes over from the suspended Ferland Mendy at left-back, while Daniel Carvajal has been rested in favor of Daniel Carvajal.

Confirmed Madrid XI: Lunin; Vazquez, Tchouameni, Nacho, Garcia; Valverde, Camavinga, Modric; Diaz; Joselu, Vinicius
