La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Thursday unveiled an official medical report regarding midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
This comes, for those who may have missed it, after the Frenchman was forced to limp out of Real Madrid’s Champions League meeting with Liverpool last night.
En route to a 2-0 defeat at Anfield, Camavinga pulled up early in the 2nd-half, with what appeared to be a muscular concern.
After being seen to by the visitors’ medical team, it quickly became clear that the 22-year-old was in no condition to continue, hooked from proceedings as a result.
And, as alluded to above, a day on, an insight into the nature of Camavinga’s injury has been provided.
As per a statement across Real Madrid’s website and social media platforms:
‘Following tests carried out today on our player Eduardo Camavinga by the club’s Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the femoral biceps of his left leg. Pending evolution.’
The expectation is that Camavinga will be sidelined for a period of around three weeks.
