Paris FC have announced the signing of Pierre Lees-Melou (32) from Brest. The midfielder has put pen to paper on a two-year contract, running until 2027, after completing the move at the club’s Orly training centre on Thursday morning. The transfer fee is understood to be €6.5m including bonuses.
Lees-Melou, who made over 230 Ligue 1 appearances with Dijon, Nice and Brest – registering 34 goals and 25 assists – brings top-flight experience to Stéphane Gilli’s side as they strengthen ahead of the final week of the summer transfer window. The former winner of the GFFN 100 moves to the French capital after a spell which saw him at the centre of Brest’s charge to Champions League football in the 2023-2024 season.
Paris FC had previously explored the signing of Benjamin André, before the Lille captain opted to extend his stay in the north. Lees-Melou was identified as an alternative and the deal accelerated in recent days following his departure from Brittany.
The capital club are not finished yet. They are expected to add three more players before the September 1st deadline – a right-back, another midfielder, and a striker.GFFN | George Boxall
