Real Madrid have no plans of offloading key midfielder Federico Valverde amid speculations linking him with Liverpool, reports Fabrizio Romano.
Valverde has been long-linked with Liverpool, with reports in past transfer windows also suggesting interest from the Reds although nothing really has come of it.
However, Real Madrid have no intention whatsoever of selling Valverde anytime soon. The Uruguayan international is a key part of the plans at the Santiago Bernabeu and an exit is not contemplated at all.
Valverde has grown leaps and bounds in stature over the past couple of seasons under Carlo Ancelotti, establishing himself as a permanent fixture in the starting XI, be it as a midfielder or on the right wing.
The 24-year-old made as many as 56 appearances across all competitions, racking up 12 goals and setting up seven more for his teammates.
Given the lack of options in attack heading into the new season and increased competition in midfield following the arrival of Jude Bellingham, there is a possibility that Valverde could be used on the flanks more frequently again.
Either way, Los Blancos have no desire to entertain any enquiries or offers for Valverde, who has a market value of €100 million. Furthermore, the 24-year-old is even seen as a future candidate to become the club captain.
So, in case Liverpool are seriously interested in signing the Uruguayan international, they would be better off looking elsewhere as Real Madrid will not let him leave for any price this summer.
