Inter Milan have spent the past few weeks chasing striker Ange-Yoan Bonny.

The France Under-21 international emerged as a top target for the Nerazzurri in attack early on in the transfer window.

Furthermore, the arrival of Cristian Chivu as coach really solidified Inter’s interest in Bonny. The 44-year-old worked well with the Frenchman at Parma towards the end of last season.

Reportedly, Inter have been closing in on an agreement with Parma over the last couple weeks.

The Nerazzurri and the Gialloblu have reportedly negotiated a fee of around €25 million including add-ons. Inter do not officially announce the transfer fee, however.

Meanwhile, Inter announce that Ange-Yoan Bonny has signed a five-year contract until the end of June 2030.

The Nerazzurri do not announce the Frenchman’s wages. Reportedly he will earn around €2 million net per season, though.

Bonny’s move to Inter brings to an end a three-year spell with Parma.

The Emilian club signed the young striker from French lower league side Chatearoux in the summer of 2021. They were still in Serie B at that time.

After two attempts, Parma won promotion to Serie A with Bonny’s help.

And the Frenchman made the step up to the top flight well, helping the Gialloblu to avoid relegation.

Furthermore, Bonny’s performances impressed Inter to such a degree that they decided to sign him as part of their more youth-focused project this summer.

Bonny made 117 appearances for Parma across three seasons. He scored fifteen goals for the Emilian club.
