Nottingham Forest have officially confirmed the signing of Arnaud Kalimuendo (23) from Rennes on a five-year deal.

The French striker arrives in the Premier League off the back of his most prolific campaign to date, scoring 18 goals and providing four assists in 34 Ligue 1 appearances during the 2024/25 season.

A product of Paris Saint-Germain’s academy, Kalimuendo made his professional debut for the club in 2020 before enjoying two successful loan spells with RC Lens, where he netted 21 times in 65 appearances. In 2022, he left PSG on a permanent deal, joining Rennes for €20m.

Across three seasons in Brittany, Kalimuendo established himself as one of Ligue 1’s most reliable forwards, featuring over 100 times and scoring 40 goals in all competitions, including in the Europa League.“When I heard about the interest from Forest, I was honoured,” said Kalimuendo in an official club statement. “This is a proud moment for me, joining a team who had a strong season last year and a club with great history.
