Serie A giants Inter have the chance to win their first Champions League since 2010 and they take on Paris Saint-Germain in the final today, as they look to avenge their loss to Manchester City from two seasons ago.

Simone Inzaghi’s side have put up some impressive numbers in the season. At the end of the group stages, they have had conceded only a single goal and had kept the most number of cleansheets in the competition at that point.

They’ve been behind for only around 16 minutes in the entire competition and that came against Bayeern Munich and Barcelona in the quarter-final and the semi-final. It shows how resilient they are as a team and even during times they are a goal down, they come back and make sure that they do not win games.

It also sheds light on how well they perform under pressure and how multi-functional they are a team. They do rely on a stout defence, having kept as many as eight cleansheets. Even if they are not great goalscorers, they score at the right time and attack the right spaces multiple times.

All these things put them in good stead against Paris Saint-Germain, who will themselves look to create history.
