There are now five Newcastle United TV matches coming up.
The latest Premier League rounds of matches released.
An official announcement (see below) from the club evealing the news.
This announcement relates to Premier League matches in March.
Official club announcement on Newcastle United TV matches – 24 January 2025:
‘Newcastle United’s Premier League game at West Ham United has been rescheduled after being selected for live television coverage.
Eddie Howe’s side were due to travel to the London Stadium to face the Hammers at 3pm GMT on Saturday, 8th March.
But that contest has now been moved to Monday, 10th March, with kick-off in the capital set for 8pm GMT.
The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Any further alterations to the Magpies’ fixture schedule will be communicated at the earliest opportunity.’
Absolutely shocking, yet again Newcastle United fans handed a change of date/time that makes it impossible to get back to Tyneside by public transport/trains after the match.
Plus, if Newcastle United do get to the Carabao Cup Final (Sunday 16 March), it cuts short NUFC’s preparation time. Whilst the other three semi-finalists have earlier games that weekend, Liverpool playing on Saturday 8 March, Arsenal and Spurs playing on Sunday 9 March.
The other NUFC Premier League match in March has been left alone but Newcastle v Palace on Saturday 15 March will be postponed if United get to the Carabao Cup final.
Saturday 25 January – Southampton v Newcastle (3pm)
Saturday 1 February – Newcastle v Fulham (3pm)
Saturday 8 February – Birmingham v Newcastle (5.45pm) BBC1 and BBC iPlayer (FA Cup)
Saturday 15 February – Man City v Newcastle (3pm)
Sunday 23 February – Newcastle v Forest (2pm) Sky Sports
Wednesday 26 February – Liverpool v Newcastle (8.15pm) TNT Sports
(Weekend of Saturday 1 March – NUFC will play in FA Cup fifth round if getting past Birmingham)
Monday 10 March – West Ham v Newcastle (8pm) Sky Sports
Saturday 15 March – Newcastle v Crystal Palace (3pm)
