Negotiations between Roma and AC Milan for the Artem Dovbyk-Santiago Gimenez swap have come to a screeching halt in the last few hours.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two clubs have failed to reach an agreement.

The negotiations are currently on hold, and the summer transfer window closes tomorrow, Monday, September 1st, at 8:00 PM.
Given the timeframe, it seems unlikely that an agreement will be reached in such a short time.
