Nikola Krstovic yet to accept Leeds United move despite agreement | OneFootball

Italian side Lecce have been close to selling striker Nikola Krstovic to Leeds United over the last 24 hours but the move has not quite progressed.

That is because – as reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Montenegro international is yet to agree to a transfer to Leeds United. Quite the same has been reported by PianetaLecce, who claim that the player has not received the calls that he had hoped for and he is still waiting for those.

There are indications in the Italian press that Krstovic is keen on staying in Italy, amidst major interest from Roma.

The Giallorossi haven’t come forward, with Leeds United having reached a draft agreement with Lecce for a fee of €23 million after having had an initial offer rejected earlier this month.

The player’s situation is still very much in the air, with Juventus also said to be a fan of his profile.
