Jarrod Bowen is starting 2024 as he ended 2023 with yet another goal for West Ham, this time inside five minutes of their FA Cup third round tie with Bristol City.
The England international’s run was picked out by Lucas Paquetá, who lofted a brilliant ball over the City defence.
From here, it was all about Bowen, as he took the ball down expertly before rounding keeper Max O’Leary and coolly finishing to put the Irons ahead.
Check it out.
The 27-year-old has now scored 14 goals for West Ham this season, just four less than his best season tally of 18 for the club, which he achieved in 2021/22.
As the now-famous chant goes, Bowen’s on fire.
