Can Napoli strengthen their attacking line as Conte wants?
Napoli turn to Chiesa and Grealish as they try to empower their forward line
Napoli want to sign a winger to bolster their attacking line for the upcoming season after the club managed to sign Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City and convince Italian coach Antonio Conte to stay after winning their second Scudetto in two years.
The club is reportedly considering signing Manchester City's Jack Grealish, who seems to have lost his place in Pep Guardiola's side, and Liverpool's Federico Chiesa, who did not find himself in Dutch coach Arne Slot's plans after arriving from Juventus.
Although the Italian side have signed Noa Lang as their new winger for the 2024-2025 season, the club are looking for additional reinforcements for next season, according to reports from Football Italia.
In addition to Jack Grealish and Federico Chiesa, Napoli want to sign Bologna's Ndoye, but the two clubs have yet to agree on a suitable offer for Bologna to part with their player.
Serie A titleholders Napoli are reportedly exploring alternative transfer targets, with Manchester City's Jack Grealish and Liverpool's Federico Chiesa emerging as potential candidates according to Italian outlets Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport.
The situation surrounding Chiesa appears particularly noteworthy. The Italian winger, left out of Liverpool's preseason Asia tour squad (which includes a friendly against AC Milan), might reportedly favor a move to Stadio Maradona.
