Napoli preparing €40 million move for Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi | OneFootball

Serie A champions Napoli had tried to sign Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund last January and are now prepared to move for him again.

Marco Conterio has reported that Antonio Conte’s side still want an attacking player and Aurelio de Laurentiis is backing the manager in this demand.

Napoli’s spotlight is firmly on Adeyemi and is at the top of the club’s shortlist. Another attempt will be made for the German international, who is currently happy at Dortmund after having rejected a move to the Partenopei in January.

A new offer is being prepared and Napoli are looking to offer a fee of €40 million after making initial contact to understand about the forward’s situation. They are hoping that the fee on offer shakes the German giants’ resolve and convinces them into a sale.

Juventus have also been linked with Adeyemi in the past but they will move decisively for Jadon Sancho after the sale of Nico Gonzalez.
