Serie A giants Napoli are interested in the possibility of signing Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto in the summer.
Luis Alberto has already publicly stated that he desire to leave Lazio in the summer and that he doesn’t intend to earn a penny from the club through his exit.
Sky Italia now state that with the Spaniard likely to depart in the summer, there is keen interest in the Serie A. Napoli are interested in the player and they have already asked for information for the ex-Liverpool midfielder, who wasn’t called up to the squad against Empoli despite not being injured or suspended.
Lazio CEO Claudio Lotito has made it clear that the club want €15 million to sell the midfielder but as of now, Napoli feel that the valuation is too high. The player’s current deal expires in the summer of 2027, so the fee in demand could well be lower than one would expect, but this is a saga worth keeping an eye on.
