Napoli could define Kevin de Bruyne by Wednesday | OneFootball

Newly crowned Serie A champions are working to bolster their squad further and are nearing a move for Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne.

The Belgian’s current contract at the Citizens runs out in the summer and Napoli have already put forward a two-year deal with the option of a third to the Manchester City star.

While a final decision is yet to be made, confidence is growing in Italy that the veteran will end up at the Partenopei, who have already raced ahead of competition like Juventus, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported, via AreaNapoli, that decisive progress has been made in the deal. De Bruyne has chosen Napoli as his next destination and between Tuesday and Wednesday, his lawyers will arrive in Naples to close the deal.

The purchase of the player’s villa will also be defined during that time and the Manchester City’s star will study at an American school in the city.
