Napoli close to renew Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s contract | OneFootball

Serie A side Napoli are set to extend Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s stay at the club.

According to a report by La Repubblica via Tutto Napoli, Napoli are focusing on renewing some players’ contracts and negotiating the extension of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. After losing Victor Osimhen this summer, the Partenopei consider the 23-year-old an integral part of their future project.

After arriving at Naples at the start of the 2022-23 season, the Georgian has seen a meteoric rise in valuation and has showcased his skills consistently over the last three campaigns. Kvaratskhelia’s current salary amounts to around €1.8 million a year and Napoli will increase it to fend off any interest from foreign clubs.

The Neapolitans are close to reaching an agreement with the player’s entourage for a renewed contract which will earn him €5.5-6 million a year until 2029 alongside bonuses.

Both parties are also considering the inclusion of a termination clause.
