Musah asks Milan fans for continued support: “We can do great things this season” | OneFootball

AC Milan have opened the season poorly, which is understood by everyone inside and outside of the club. However, the season cannot yet be written off, and Yunus Musah believes the squad can claw it back.

For many fans, it feels like a continued version of last season, and in many ways, things have been. Milan are currently a side without an identity – or at least a consistent one – and this is very evident.

In the first three games of the new Serie A campaign, the Rossoneri have only been able to collect two points, a frustrating opening to the new season, but there remains a lot of time for things to change. As cliche as it may be, there are 35 games left to play, and only five points are separating the Diavolo and league leaders, Inter.

With this in mind, when speaking to SportsMediaset, Musah has asked the fans to continue their support and has commented on his progress so far – his words have been relayed by Milan News.

“I am ambitious and I believe in this group: we have a strong team. If we learn things and raise the level I believe we can do great things this season.”

“Second year at AC Milan? I have more experience, I know the league and the opponents better. I can control the timing of matches better. On the other hand, his first goal in an AC Milan shirt has not yet arrived: ‘I have to say that it’s a bit frustrating that I haven’t managed to score yet.
