Moroccan Starlet Adam Aznou Set to Leave Bayern Munich for Everton

Promising Moroccan defender Adam Aznou's on the verge of leaving Bayern Munich following tough season spent mostly on loan at Villarreal.

Why the move now?

The 19 year old was promoted to Bayern's senior squad at the start of the 2024 /25 season but made only 2 appearances before being loaned to Villarreal in Feb 2025.

He returned to Munich in Jun and was included in Vincent Kompany’s squad for the Club World cup where he played just 9 minute all in the 10 - 0 win over Auckland City.

Despite his brief inclusion the Bayern coaching staff reportedly has no plans to include him in their squad for next season.

According to Foot Mercato Everton have reached full agreement with Bayern Munich to sign the Moroccan youngster on permanent transfer.

The English club'll reportedly pay 11 million euro and Aznou's expected to travel to England early next week for his medical before signing his new contract.

What next for Aznou?

Aznou whose current deal with Bayern runs until Jun 2027 impressed during his 6 month stint with Villarreal making 16 la liga appearances. Despite his potential, stiff competition at Bayern's forced him to seek opportunities elsewhere.
