Mohamed Salah’s move to Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017 has been ranked among the 10 greatest transfers in history, according to the website “lentedesportiva.”

The Pharaoh has dazzled during his years with the Reds, netting 245 goals and providing 113 assists in 401 appearances across all competitions.

The same source named Andrea Pirlo’s free transfer to Juventus after his contract with AC Milan ended in 2011 as the greatest of all time. The Italian maestro helped the Old Lady secure four consecutive Serie A titles.

Robert Lewandowski’s switch from Dortmund to Bayern Munich in 2014, and Lionel Messi’s move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2021, complete the top three.

In fourth place is N’Golo Kanté’s signing with Leicester City from Caen in 2015. The Frenchman was instrumental in the Foxes’ historic first Premier League title.
