MN: Ossola shining with Milan Primavera after promotion from U17s | OneFootball

While Francesco Camarda’s name took the headlines in terms of AC Milan’s young talents yesterday, a mention must go to Lorenzo Ossola of the Primavera.

MilanNews speak of Ossola as ‘a young talent has blossomed in the Rossoneri youth team’. Yesterday he scored the equaliser for the Primavera in the 95th minute of their UEFA Youth League game against Club Brugge, with the assist coming from another exciting player in Christian Comotto.

The young Lorenzo took his first steps with Varese, where he also worked as a ball boy. As soon as he was able to, he returned home to watch CSI Brinzio, his hometown team, and spend some time with his childhood friends. He became very close to his family and sisters, then decided to join his boyhood club Milan.

He is a left-footed player with quality and creativity. Ossola has style on and off the pitch, with a passion for fashion that distinguishes him. The 17-year-old’s other passion is certainly music, with a predilection for rap but not only, and he is mature beyond his years.

Last year with the U17 side he scored 16 goals and added three assists in 25 games, also earning a call-up to the U17 Italian national team. He was almost an even bigger hero yesterday too, but the Brugge goalkeeper De Corte denied him what would have been a 96th-minute winner.

Ossola can play either as an attacking midfielder or on the right wing where he is able to cut inside onto his favoured left foot. He renewed his deal last November until 2026, his first professional contract, and the club have high hopes internally.
