AC Milan managed to beat Udinese by four goals to nil last night and as a result, two days of rest now await the Rossoneri, according to a report.

Milan were back at the training ground earlier today for the usual recovery session, with the starters working in the gym and the substitutes working on the pitch. However, as reported by MilanNews, Sergio Conceicao has granted his players two days off.

This means that training will resume on Tuesday in view of the game against Atalanta. That clash is scheduled for Sunday so Milan have plenty of time to prepare, and it has clearly done a lot of good with Conceicao finally (seemingly) getting through to the players.

It should be noted that Mike Maignan, following yesterday’s head collision, wasn’t present at the training session. He will be resting until Tuesday, when new tests will be carried out to determine when he can go back to training fully again.

The good news is that the goalkeeper avoided any serious injuries and could thus be available against Atalanta, or at the very least for the game against Inter. It would certainly be a massive boost for the Rossoneri considering how good he has been lately.
