The Lions’ full schedule for the new Championship campaign has been confirmed
Millwall begin the new Championship season at home to Watford.
A turgid season for the Lions last term saw four different managers in the dugout, from Gary Rowett, to caretaker Adam Barret, the short-lived reign of Joe Edwards and then the return of Neil Harris.
Millwall had lost six of seven before Harris, who turn the club's fortunes around immediately. Guiding the Lions from the relegation zone to 13th come the end of the season.
It means Millwall head into the new campaign with optimism, though the passing over first-choice goalkeeper Matija Sarkic, aged just 26, has shocked the club, and football world. Tributes are planned for the Montenegrins.
Harris will be tasked with pushing for a play-off place and their early has been relatively kind. The first London derby sees Milwall head to Loftus Road to face QPR on September 21.
The traditional festive period will see Millwall away at Norwich on Boxing Day before a trip to Coventry City to round off the calendar year. The season concludes at Burnley.
