Alvaro Morata has returned to training with Spain’s national team, and Italian media claim the Rossoneri hope for ‘common sense’ as their striker missed the latest Serie A match with a head injury.

Morata was taken to the hospital on November 7 after suffering a head injury in training at Milanello, missing an away match against Cagliari two days later.

Nevertheless, he was still called up by Spain’s national team for Nations League games against Denmark and Switzerland, upsetting the Rossoneri.

Spain doctors have given the green light after further medical checks, but Milan coach Paulo Fonseca warned that Morata should follow the UEFA protocol and rest for at least ten days after a concussion.

This is clearly not the case, as Morata resumed training with his national team on Wednesday.

According to Tuttosport and Milannews, the Rossoneri ‘hope common sense prevails’ and Morata is not given too much playing time in the next two matches.

According to Milannews, the Spaniard is expected to miss tomorrow’s game against Denmark but could be involved against Switzerland on Monday 18.
