Marseille set asking price for Brighton target Azzedine Ounahi | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Olympique de Marseille have set their asking price for Azzedine Ounahi (25), who has been linked with a move to Brighton & Hove Albion in recent weeks.

Foot Mercato have previously reported that Ounahi has said ‘yes’ to a move to the Premier League side, and that there is a verbal agreement over a four-year contract. However, Marseille have yet to receive any offer for the 25-year-old.

Despite the Moroccan international having no future in the south of France and no place in Roberto De Zerbi’s plans, Marseille will only accept a permanent departure this summer for €12 million. Ounahi had been loaned out last season to Panathinaikos FC, but another loan is thought to be out of the question.

If Marseille’s asking price is not met, the midfielder will remain in La Provence, where he has two years left on his contract. For Ounahi, a move will be particularly important with the Africa Cup of Nations occurring in six months.
