Catalan giants latest big club to be credited with an interest in wantaway England forward
Ruben Amorim refused to discuss reports linking Marcus Rashford with a move to Barcelona.
The England forward has confirmed he is looking for a fresh challenge after falling out of favour under the United boss.
Rashford, who was first dropped by Amorim before the win over Manchester City in December, has not featured for the club since the loss to Nottingham Forest earlier that month.
AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with an interest in the 27-year-old, albeit his salary at United could prove a stumbling block.
Barca are the latest club to have been linked amid reports in Spain suggesting Rashford would be keen to join Hansi Flick’s side.
Quite whether or not they could pull off a deal remains to be seen, having initially struggled to register Dani Olmo and Pau Vitor before Spain’s supreme sports council (CSD) granted them temporary registration.

Asked whether or not Rashford could feature against Southampton on Thursday, Amorim said: “I just want to win tomorrow. My focus is to win tomorrow and I will choose the players that I think are the best to win the game tomorrow. I am just focused on that."
The United boss also warned his side they will need to repeat the level of performance they showed against Liverpool and Arsenal when they host the Premier League’s bottom side.
Consistency has long been an issue for United and one of the major criticisms has been they tend to raise their game for heavyweight fixtures, only to drop down the levels against teams they will be expected to beat.
“When you have the pressure to win that is the pressure we want,” he added.
“Sometimes it's hard. Against Arsenal and Liverpool, nobody was expecting us to beat those teams but now we have top be prepared for that pressure, we need that pressure as a team and face the game the right way."
Amorim confirmed Toby Collyer was in line to feature after impressing in Sunday’s FA Cup third-round penalty shootout win over Arsenal.
Diogo Dalot is suspended, while none of Luke Shaw, Mason Mount or Victor Lindelof are expected to return.
