Milan are stepping up their pursuit of Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund, as reports from Italy claim that the Premier League side are open to any potential deal consisting of a loan formula.
According to what has been reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, Milan’s interest first and foremost depended on whether Ruben Amorim’s side would accept the player leaving on loan – with a potential option or obligation to purchase the player permanently.

The reports suggest that the Rossoneri would rather strike an agreement for a loan with obligation, allowing them to spread the cost and not take on the whole financial burden this summer.
Manchester United are on the verge of completing a €75 million plus bonuses deal to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, leaving Hojlund on the fringes of the squad. With the tall Slovenian set to arrive in Manchester, former Atalanta striker Hojlund will likely struggle for minutes.

However, the Danish striker is not the only name on the Rossoneri radar, with Gazzetta suggesting the club are still keen on reuniting Serbian forward Dusan Vlahovic with new head coach Massimiliano Allegri – the two having worked together when the former Fiorentina man joined Juventus.
