The FA Cup holders welcome Fulham to Old Trafford in the fifth round on Sunday knowing cup competitions are their only saving grace amid an otherwise miserable league campaign.

Injuries continue to cripple Ruben Amorim’s squad, and Patrick Dorgu’s red card during the win over Ipswich has only worsened his selection headache.

With that said, here’s all the latest on the Manchester United injuries

Amad Diallo

The young star has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury. Ruben Amorim explained how Amad sustained the injury during training, telling reporters: "Amad was alone. He was doing a tackle. The feet were sticking in the grass and some players felt during training sickness so it is everything.”A

Amad, who is now targeting a return during pre-season, confirmed the injury in a social media post: "Extremely disappointed to be writing this message in such a crucial time of the season.

"Unfortunately, I will be out for some time with an injury. I will come back stronger than ever!! Time to support the boys from the outside. Still loads to play for."

Potential return date: August 2025

Kobbie Mainoo

The midfielder also suffered an injury during training ahead of United's 1-0 defeat to Tottenham and is expected to be sidelined for “weeks”.

Mainoo has since also sat out the draw at Everton and win over Ipswich. The England international will miss Thomas Tuchel’s first senior squad, but it is hope he can return to action during April.

Potential return date: April 2025

Luke Shaw

The left-back’s torrid season somehow got worse earlier this month with another injury setback. Shaw has been restricted to just three substitute appearances all season, and it is now over a year since he was named in a starting line-up for United.

With Patrick Dorgu now suspended for three games following a red card against Ipswich, United are facing a shortage of full-backs and Amorim has been unable to even estimate a date for when Shaw could be fit again to play.

Potential return date: Unknown

Lisandro Martinez

Lisandro Martinez has been ruled out for several months after suffering a serious knee injury against Crystal Palace earlier this month.

Martinez damaged his cruciate ligament and has since undergone surgery, so is expected to miss the start of next season amid fears he could be out for most of the year.

Speaking about the injury, Ruben Amorim said at the time: "He's going to be out for a while. We don't know the extent of the injury but it's an injury that's going to take time."

Potential return date: Late 2025

Toby Collyer

The young midfielder has been one of the biggest beneficiaries from Ruben Amorim’s arrival, but has picked up an injury in training before the trip to Tottenham and has not been seen since.

It is understood that Collyer’s injury is the least serious of the three - himself, Amad and Mainoo - so could return to action sooner rather than later.

Potential return date: March 2025

Altay Bayindir

The second-choice goalkeeper had been enjoying a run in the team before picking up an unspecified “problem” earlier in February.

Bayindir is currently recovering but it remains to be seen when he could return to the pitch.

Potential return date: Unknown

Mason Mount

The midfielder is another who has suffered terribly with injuries during his time at the club. He was last seen being forced off during in the first half of United's 2-1 victory over Manchester City in December.

He was subsequently ruled out for "several weeks" and has reportedly been making good progress on a return to the pitch, but a clearer date remains unknown.

Potential return date: Unknown

Jonny Evans

The veteran defender has been missing with a calf injury since December 26, and is seemingly no closer to a return.

Potential return date: Unknown
