In the summer, lots of money was spent on young talent, with Leny Yoro arriving from Lille for £52m.

Chido Obi-Martin and Sekou Kone also joined the academy and there is belief that both players have enough talent to one day play for the senior team.

INEOS want to build an exciting team full of young, determined players, and after hiring Ruben Amorim, it looks like they always wanted a young coach (39) to lead the way.

One player reportedly on United’s target list list is 17-year-old Sverre Nypan.

The Rosenborg youngster is thought to be one of the best young players in Europe right now.

According to TBR Football, United and confident of signing the youngster to boost their options across midfield.

The report claims Rosenborg have told Nypan to choose his next club once their season ends in early December. This means they have accepted their fate with the midfielder.

It is understood that Nypan will be available for around £10m, but there could be add-ons taking the deal closer to £20m.

Nypan’s camp will soon to be challenged with picking their next club. However, United are supposedly working to try and conclude a deal.

Several other Premier League clubs are said to be interest in a move for Nypan, which means United will face competition for his signature.

The other English clubs include Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City.

The Reds have been tracking the Norwegian wonderkid since he was 14/15-years-old, and scouts have been keeping a closer eye on him this season.

Only time will tell if Nypan will be Amorim’s first signing as United head coach, but I cannot imagine there will be many arrivals in January.

Some deals are too good to pass one, though.
