In a recent report, ESPN’s Julien Laurens mentioned that Manchester United are showing interest in Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic. It has been stated that the Red Devils are keeping a keen eye on the Serbian striker this summer.
Vlahovic was a good performer for the Turin club in the previous campaign when he put in a run of impressive displays for them in front of the opponent’s goal. The Serbia international banged in 17 goals and grabbed five assists in 44 matches for Juventus last season across multiple competitions.
The 25-year-old gave a good account of himself up top as he averaged 3.68 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A football. He kept 34.2% of his attempts on target. However, Vlahovic needs to improve his link-up play in the final third based on his pass completion rate of 69.1% in top-flight football (stats via fbref.com).
Vlahovic is under contract at the Italian club until the summer of 2026. Hence, Man United could potentially sign him on a cut-price deal this off-season.

Vlahovic is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to create the odd chance for his teammates on the offensive end of the field. The Serbian talent is a strong runner with the ball as well. Standing at 1.90m, he can use his powerful frame to dominate the opposition defenders in the air.
However, Vlahovic might need some time to adapt to the high intensity of the Premier League if Man United manage to bring him on board this summer.
Vlahovic would add more firepower to Man United boss Ruben Amorim’s frontline. He is good enough to compete with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo for a regular first-team spot at Old Trafford next season.
At 25, Vlahovic has his peak years ahead of him which makes him a worthy target for the Red Devils to pursue this summer. Thus, Amorim would be wise to step up his efforts to bring the Serbian striker to the Theatre of Dreams ahead of the new campaign.
