Team News

On his comeback from a hamstring injury, Nathan Ake made a start against the Bees and the Dutch defender is now in the running to maintain his position on the left side. Additionally, John Stones is expected to make a comeback and assume his hybrid midfield role alongside Rodri.

Pep Guardiola faces a significant dilemma regarding the choice between first-choice goalkeeper Ederson or cup goalkeeper Stefan Ortega. While Ederson is the preferred option, Ortega has featured in four out of five FA Cup matches for City this season, making the decision crucial for Guardiola.

As for the Red Devils, they have a number of players sidelined due to injuries. Anthony Martial is out with a hamstring injury, while Lisandro Martinez (foot), Marcel Sabitzer, Donny van de Beek (both knees), and Tom Heaton (ankle) are also receiving treatment. Despite being stretchered off with an ankle problem in the victory over Chelsea, Antony has a “good opportunity” to recover in time for the final.
