Man City have confirmed that defender Vitor Reis has joined Girona on a season-long loan deal.
Reis only joined City in January from Palmeiras but found game time difficult to come by and will now spend the season with fellow City Group owned club Girona.
The centre-back has played four times for City, including starting in FA Cup wins over Leyton Orient and Plymouth Argyle.
Fellow City centre-back Max Alleyne has also left on loan for the season, joining Championship side Watford.
“Seeing Max play, it is clear that the Man City academy is doing a great job,” Watford head coach Paulo Pezzolano said. “Now it’s our job to contribute to Max’s development, help him settle in the professional game and get the best out of him for Watford.”
It also follows defender Jahmai Simpson-Pusey’s loan move to Celtic earlier this week. The 19-year-old played five times for City’s first team last season.
Another player who could be departing on loan is Jack Grealish, meanwhile.
Everton are keen on signing the City winger, who joined the club for £100m back in 2021.
But the 29-year-old made just one Premier League start under Pep Guardiola last season and is keen on a move away in order to get more game time.
