Theo Hernández’s future at AC Milan is uncertain, as contract extension talks have stalled. This has led several clubs to express interest in signing the standout defender in 2025.
Hernández plays a crucial role for Milan, and the club is keen to avoid losing him on a free transfer. A recent report from AS reveals that Milan is focused on securing a renewal, but if negotiations fail, they could look to sell him.
The situation has already attracted attention from top European clubs. PSG and Bayern Munich are monitoring developments, and new reports suggest Manchester United may also be considering a move for the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.
According to Sky Sports Germany, Rúben Amorim has prioritized strengthening Manchester United’s left-back position, with Alphonso Davies and Hernández identified as key targets.

Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported on Wednesday that Hernández is still a potential target for Bayern Munich if Alphonso Davies departs at the end of the season, as previously mentioned and now confirmed.
Last summer, Bayern Munich, led by Max Eberl, held advanced talks with the 27-year-old left-back. However, the transfer didn’t go through because the club opted to allow Davies to enter the final year of his contract instead.
Plettenberg also confirmed that the 2021-22 Serie A winner is on Manchester United’s radar as they look to strengthen their defense.
The Madrid-born defender, under contract with Milan until 2026, is reportedly asking for a salary increase to €8 million per season, so it won’t be a cheap pursuit considering his wage demands.
