Manchester United are looking to build on last weekend's miraculous Manchester derby triumph when they host Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday.
Two late goals secured a remarkable comeback victory against Manchester City in the highlight of Ruben Amorim's short reign, although the Red Devils followed up their victory with an underwhelming and topsy-turvy 4-3 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals midweek.
The Red Devils lost their Old Trafford meeting with Bournemouth last season, with a 3-0 victory for the Cherries standing as one of Man Utd's many low points in 2023/24. Amorim will be keen for greater success in his first duel with the south coast side, but will tackle the challenge without some of his key first-teamers.

Matthijs de Ligt has been far from exceptional since arriving at Old Trafford but Man Utd did concede four in his absence at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Dutch defender was missing in north London through illness.
It remains to be seen whether or not De Ligt is well enough to feature against Spurs but Amorim will certainly be keen for the centre-back to be part of his matchday squad.

Victor Lindelof made his first Man Utd start since early November during the trip to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup but the injury-prone Swede was withdrawn just before half-time with an unspecified issue. He was replaced by the returning Jonny Evans, who had been absent since Amorim's first match in charge.
It's not yet clear when the defender could return for Amorim but he's almost certain to miss out on Bournemouth's visit at the weekend, further restricting his manager's defensive options.

The injury-prone Luke Shaw had only been back in the Man Utd team for three matches before he suffered another injury. A muscle issue means he is guaranteed to be absent for the visit of Bournemouth.
The 29-year-old is unlikely to return to action until the new year and Man Utd will have to be careful when reintegrating him into their starting lineup given his recent setback.

Mason Mount has endured rotten luck when it comes to injuries since joining Man Utd and the Englishman once again finds himself on the sidelines. He lasted just 14 minutes of the Manchester derby before being withdrawn with a fresh muscle injury.
Amorim has confirmed that Mount will be missing for several weeks, meaning he's unlikely to make a comeback until mid-January at the earliest. The midfielder had recently worked his way into the starting lineup after an injury-stricken start to the campaign.
