Manchester United are reportedly emerging as the frontrunners for the potential signing of Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo this summer.
Liverpool and other members of the Premier League’s big six are also thought to be keen on a deal for the Ghana international.
However, Arsenal are not currently in the race for his signature – the only top six club not showing an interest, according to Sky Sports.
It looks like good news for Man Utd, however, as the report suggests they’re currently the most likely club to win the race for the £70m-rated Semenyo this summer.
Described as “powerful” and full of “quality” by his Cherries teammate Lewis Cook (via BBC Sport), Semenyo is having a fantastic season in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old is a real handful out wide, and he looks like someone who could help Ruben Amorim take this United side up a level.

It looks hugely important for MUFC to win the Europa League this season, or else they won’t be playing in Europe next term.
That could make it tricky for the club to attract the kind of transfer targets needed to make sure next season can be an improvement on this mostly nightmarish campaign.
Semenyo could be ideal as an upgrade on flops and misfits like Marcus Rashford and Antony in attack, but he’d surely see Liverpool as a more tempting option.
Arne Slot’s side are about to win the Premier League title and will be in the Champions League next season, most likely as one of the main contenders to win it.
Why wouldn’t Semenyo want to be a part of that? United might be able to edge it in terms of guaranteeing him regular playing time, but there’s little else that would pull him towards Old Trafford right now.
It’s also slightly surprising that Arsenal are apparently not pursuing Semenyo, as the Gunners look in real need of more depth in attack after slightly indifferent performances from Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard for most of this season.
