Manchester United and Newcastle are the latest clubs to join the transfer race for highly talented youngster Adama Bojang.

The 19-year-old impressed with his performances at the recent under-20 World Cup, scoring two goals in the tournament for the youth team of Gambia.

He also bagged four goals at the under-20 African Cup of Nations earlier this year, helping his country reach the final.

His performances for the national side have earned him many admirers in England.

The Guardian report that Premier League giants Man United and Newcastle have joined the transfer race for the centre-forward.

He has also sparked an interest in Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The youngster is reportedly available to sign for around €3 million from Steve Biko FC, who compete in Gambia’s GFA League.

Several Bundesliga clubs have also been credited with an interest in the 19-year-old, including RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Another unnamed German club have reportedly launched a bid for the Gambia U20 international.

Bojang is believed to prefer a move to the Bundesliga, but an offer from Man United or Newcastle could tempt him to join the Premier League.

Opportunities will likely be limited for him in the beginning if he decides to join a top English club.

But he could be given more first-team chances if he works hard in training and impresses with his performances for the reserve teams.
