Manchester United’s Casemiro has accepted his future is increasingly likely to be in Saudi Arabia rather than England.

The Brazilian joined United in the summer of 2022 and put in a spectacular debut season, where he screened the defence with expertise and even added goals to his game, scoring the opener in the Carabao cup final win.

However, the five time Champions League winner has dropped off massively this season and has put in some horror show performances.

His efforts during the 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Crystal Palace were particularly critiqued with many wondering if the player had any future at the highest level.

The season went from bad to worse as he was left out of the first eleven with Sofyan Amrabat getting the nod to start in midfield in the FA Cup final in his place, and the player was reportedly very unhappy with the decision and withdrew from the first team squad.

In addition, he jetted off early with his family on holiday after the game and did not participate in the wild partying the rest of the team took part in on Saturday night.

It has also been reported numerous times that INEOS are keen to get rid of the player this summer to offload his huge wages and bring in younger and hungrier players.

Relevo report that in regard to Casemiro’s future, he “will wait to know Manchester United’s intentions, but playing in Saudi Arabia is a reality that he has increasingly accepted.”

“While it is true that at the moment the midfielder has not decided on his future, the idea of playing in Saudi Arabia is a possibility that is on his mind more and more often.”

“Casemiro has acknowledged on several occasions to those closest to him that his future would be linked to the Saudi Pro League.”

“Relevo has learned of the interest of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr in the former Real Madrid player. In a case of departure, the spotlight points to a reunion between the Portuguese and Brazilian for the following season.”

It has also been stated that the Saudi club would have no issues offering the serial winner a “considerable amount” to sign a deal until 2026.

Despite the possibility of the player staying still being on the table, it looks ever more that United fans have witnessed the Brazilian in a United shirt for the last time.
