Manchester United are reportedly preparing for a major shake-up in their midfield, with Bruno Guimaraes and Youri Tielemans emerging as key targets, according to Fichajes.

This development comes amid growing speculation that Bruno Fernandes could leave the club this summer.

The Man United captain has been the best player at the club this season once again and easily one of the best players in the Premier League and the Europa League.

Although his form in the Premier League has not helped United much considering their league position at the moment, his leadership and goal scoring quality has taken the Red Devils to the Europa League final.

Fernandes has become a target for Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal, following discussions between the club and the player’s agent.

Until recently, it seemed almost certain that Fernandes would remain at Old Trafford, despite ongoing interest from the Middle East.

However, recent meetings with Al-Hilal have reignited rumors of a potential move. The Saudi club is believed to be offering a massive contract worth between €30 million and €35 million per year.

United have added Tielemans and Guimaraes to their list of potential replacements.

Tielemans has been outstanding for Aston Villa this season and under the management of Unai Emery, he has finally regained the form he showed at Leicester City.

As for Guimaraes, he has been a consistent performer for Eddie Howe’s side, as seen once again in their win against Chelsea at the weekend.

Although the Brazilian midfielder is happy at St James’ Park, an ambitious project could convince him to leave the Magpies.

Fernandes knows this could be his last opportunity to secure a lucrative contract at the highest level of football.

While his future remains uncertain, the Red Devils are preparing for all possibilities.

Replacing him would be nearly impossible for them at this stage considering the output he produces.
