Manchester United defeated Everton 4-0 at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.
Kobbie Mainoo returned to the starting XI after spending the last few weeks on the sidelines.
Marcus Rashford opened the scoring around the half-hour mark and Joshua Zirkzee doubled United’s lead in the second half.
Just 40 seconds after the restart, Rashford was at it again, burying another to put the game beyond doubt.
Zirkzee then capped off a stellar performance, adding a second to his tally and ensuring a dominant home victory for the Red Devils.
Andre Onana – 7/10
Onana produced a brilliant reaction save to deny Dominic Calvert-Lewin late in the game.
Amad Diallo – 9/10
A fabulous performance from Amad Diallo firmly cements his place as the starting right wing-back.
He earned two assists and played a key role in three United’s goals. His relentless pressing caused numerous mistakes in Everton’s defence.
He is undroppable in this form.
Noussair Mazraoui – 6/10
A reliable performance once again from United’s standout player in recent weeks. He was withdrawn early in the second half, likely to preserve his fitness for the upcoming clash.
Matthijs de Ligt – 6/10
De Ligt recorded 95 percent passing accuracy and won all his duels. He did his job well and looks set to start against Arsenal on Wednesday.
Lisandro Martinez – 6/10
Martinez continues to look at home as the left centre-back in a three-man defence, barring his early mistake. He picked up a yellow card for a tactical foul and will be suspended for the next match.
Diogo Dalot – 5/10
He was more disciplined in his wing-back role and did not drift in the midfield. He made a promising run behind Everton’s defence, but a poor touch ultimately stalled United’s attacking opportunity.
Kobbie Mainoo – 5/10
The young midfielder didn’t display the same mobility we have seen from him in the past, likely due to a touch of rustiness following his return from injury.
Like Martinez, his yellow card will force him to miss Wednesday’s Arsenal clash.
Casemiro – 6/10
Casemiro made a brilliant recovery run to deny Dwight McNeil, who had broken through on goal following a mistake by Martinez.
Bruno Fernandes – 7/10
The United captain pulled the strings in midfield and earned two assists. His substitution showed Amorim’s determination to rotate his squad.
Marcus Rashford – 8/10
Rashford scored twice to continue the elevation in his game since the managerial change.
His first goal came with a stroke of fortune, as a wicked deflection wrong-footed Jordan Pickford. The second was a classic Rashford finish, powering the ball past the goalkeeper with precision and strength.
Joshua Zirkzee – 7/10
Zirkzee started for the first time under Amorim and bagged a brace to end his barren run in front of the goal. His celebration showed he needed that goal after a tough start to his lift at United.
Luke Shaw – 7/10
Shaw looked comfortable and would likely start against the Gunners, with Martinez suspended.
Harry Maguire – 6/10
Another United player who returned after spending a few weeks on the sidelines.
Alejandro Garnacho – 6/10
The young winger had a few bright moments but failed to find the final pass or shot.
Manuel Ugarte – 6/10
Ugarte added more intensity to the midfield, which was lacking in the centre before his arrival.
Mason Mount – N/A
Too late to rate.
