Jadon Sancho will reportedly have the option of continuing plying his trade in the Premier League after learning of new interest from an unlikely suitor.
Indeed, the Manchester United outcast is said to have made his way onto the shortlist of Nottingham Forest after they reluctantly sanctioned Anthony Elanga’s exit to Newcastle United this month.
The report comes via The Sun (relayed by Sky Sports) amid Sancho’s ongoing quest to seal a move away from Old Trafford before 2025/2026 gets underway.

As things stand, Forest will be playing in the Europa League next season following Crystal Palace’s demotion to the UEFA Conference League – a decision that they will continue to protest and appeal.
Sancho, meanwhile, is thought to be prioritising a permanent switch to Juventus, although that’s likely only because he’s garnered such little interest since Chelsea sent him back to Manchester upon the culmination of his loan spell.
Talks have been ongoing between United and the Serie A outfit for several weeks now, yet an agreement hasn’t materialised, meaning the 25-year-old is still having to report to Carrington to keep up his fitness levels – albeit after Ruben Amorim and the first-team have left the training complex.
This summer poses as the last chance United have to recuperate as high a fee a possible for exiled winger ahead of his contract expiring in June 2026. One thing’s for sure: wherever he does end up, they won’t make anywhere near the ludicrous £73 million they forked out for Sancho back in 2021.
He will leave the club with 83 appearances to his name, having scored a measly 12 goals and contributed six assists.
