Four clubs are looking to try and find a solution for Carney Chukwuemeka before the end of the transfer window according to reports.

Chukwuemeka has made it clear he wants to return to Dortmund, having spent the second half of last season on loan at the Bundesliga club.

Chelsea have made it clear they want a permanent sale, and are believed to want offers of close to the £40m release clause for Chukwuemeka.

Four clubs interested in Carney Chukwuemeka

Chukwuemeka is one of a number of players Chelsea are looking to move on before the end of the window, with the midfielder no longer part of the plans under Enzo Maresca.

Chelsea rejected a loan offer with an obligation from Dortmund, with the bid described as “insulting,” and it remains to be seen what the Bundesliga outfit decide to do next.

Chukwuemeka is believed to be disappointed with how Chelsea deal with players, but Dortmund aren’t the only club interested in his services.

Mail Sport have reported West Ham, RB Leipzig and Napoli continue to look for solutions for Chukwuemeka before the window closes.

Whether any of those clubs comes forward with an offer Chelsea deem acceptable remains to be seen, but it’s in the best interest of all parties that Chukwuemeka is sold this summer.

The 21-year-old joined Chelsea from Aston Villa in a deal worth £20m in 2022, but injuries have plagued his time at Stamford Bridge, and he’s made just 32 appearances for the Blues.

Chelsea face busy end to the window

Whilst the Blues have sold well this summer and raised more than £200m in transfer fees, there’s still plenty of work to do before the end of the window.

Chelsea need to sell the likes of Axel Disasi, Renato Veiga, Ben Chilwell, Raheem Sterling, Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson to name a few.

Offers are likely to come in for these players, but clubs will probably wait until closer to the deadline in order to get a better deal, and Chelsea might have to accept at this late stage they may not get the fees they might have expected earlier in the window.
