Chelsea faced off against Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier tonight as they looked to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a poor start to the game and conceded the opener in the fourth minute when Marc Cucurella scored an unfortunate own goal. Mauricio Pochettino’s men conceded their second goal in the 42nd minute when Morgan Rogers got his name on the scoresheet. Chelsea were trailing 2-0 at the half-time break.

The West London club came back stronger in the second 45 minutes and got themselves back in the game in the 62nd minute when Noni Madueke found the back of the net. Conor Gallagher equalised for Chelsea in the 81st minute as the London outfit managed to earn an entertaining 2-2 draw at Villa Park.
