La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Romelu Lukaku is ready to open talks with Milan and Napoli, but Chelsea won’t sell the Belgian striker for less than €30m and are not open to a new loan deal.

Lukaku is destined to leave Chelsea in the summer transfer window after a one-year loan spell at Roma and Serie A giants Milan and Napoli are interested in the Belgium international.

Only a couple of days ago, Sky Sport Italia reported that the Rossoneri had intensified talks with the Blues, while Gazzetta adds today that the Belgian is open to a return to San Siro, although on the opposite side of the Navigli, where he spent three years with Inter.

Milan, however, are not alone.

During his first press conference as a Napoli coach on Wednesday, Antonio Conte did not hide his interest in the ex-Inter star, but the Partenopei must sell Victor Osimhen before opening talks with Chelsea and their striker.

Gazzetta, however, warns that Chelsea are currently unwilling to sell Lukaku for less than €30m and that a new loan deal is out of question at Stamford Bridge.

Sky Sport also reports that Chelsea’s asking price for Lukaku is circa €30m.

It remains to be seen if the Blues’ stance will change throughout the summer, as it already happened one year ago when Lukaku eventually joined Roma.

Milan have been linked with several strikers so far. Gazzetta confirms that new Milan coach Paulo Fonseca is an admirer of Tammy Abraham but the Diavoli’s primary option remains Joshua Zirkzee.

The Dutchman’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, still demands a €15m commission on top of a €40m clause, so talks between the two parties have been put on hold.
